This means that when you are in the club, you are working alongside exceptional individuals that encourage, challenge and inspire you to grow and discover new potentials.
Director’s Cut is a vibrant community of artists in the industry who are making, working and thriving together. DCT members are not just creative allies making work, they are friends and family, some of which have journeyed with DCT for years. Within the DCT workshops and ‘ways of working’ there are thought out practices that contribute to cultivating a culture fundamental to shaping the DCT community - open and inclusive, celebratory and supportive, empathetic and human.
Director’s Cut is a highly creative and original space with a unique structure. Based in different theatres, artists are aligned on a journey together across all clubs - actors, directors and writers, diving into a new theme to explore each term, led by Artistic Director Heather Ward. Always changing, always fresh, at DCT you play and investigate. In this space, hundreds of new plays and projects have been born, collaborations have been made and stories have been shared.
