The Producers Club is the club for theatre producers. Your club, to connect you with other producers, bespoke workshops according to your needs, and connections with a network of some of the most talented emerging playwrights, directors and professional actors in the industry.

The Producer’s Club takes place weekly on Saturday afternoons 2pm-4:30pm and takes place virtual via Zoom.  Membership fee is £120 a term.

Director’s Cut are supported by Southwark Playhouse, Theatre Royal Stratford East, Pleasance Theatre, Park Theatre and Rose Kingston.

TRAINING FROM AND NETWORKING WITH PROFESSIONAL PRODUCERS

Directors Cut Theatre Company hire experienced producers to run workshops with The Producer’s Club to share their knowledge and experience.  Not only is this a great way to learn and develop skills, it is also an excellent opportunity to connect with producers working in the industry.  You will receive workshops on producing in London, Edinburgh Fringe, taking plays on tour, funding, how to approach investors, as well as bespoke workshops according to your particular interests.

Director’s Cut run The Writer’s Club – the club for playwrights who have become a member through a competitive selection process, either by submitting material or being invited into the club for their recognised talent.  Some of these writers work have been selected over thousands of submissions for showcases that we have produced.  Producers will get access to their many scripts and through our events and networking opportunities become familiar with their different writing styles.

We have auditioned thousands of professional actors for events we have produced and have a network of exceptionally talented professional actors who have been invited into The Actors Club. They are enthusiastic, proactive, hard working individuals making art and connections.

Advertise for auditions you are holding, script call outs and plays or projects you are producing to our artistic community via The Artists Hub, our online members area.

HANDPICK YOUR TEAM AND AWAY YOU GO!

We encourage artists within our artistic community to connect and work together. We match you with actors, writers and directors on a project to feedback in a virtual workshop environment, facilitated by one of our directors.  Many projects have gone on to have a future life from one of these workshops! Our Encompass scheme connects artists by offering free rehearsal space will take place at Southwark Playhouse and other theatres across London.

FREE MEMBERSHIP TO THE ARTISTS HUB

As a member of The Producers Club you get free membership to The Artists Hub, which can be found at https://theartistshub.co.uk The Artists Hub is our online creative community platform which enables artists to discover who is in the network, connect, provide and find resources, swap skills, initiate their own projects, have their artistic work advertised in our monthly newsletters, engage in creative challenges and quests, and read and share information on news, shows and other projects. Here you have your own profile, area to create a portfolio of work that can be shared with others outside of the hub, you can also connect with other artists in the hub, take part in creative challenges, hear and share jobs & opportunities, sell/find props/costumes/art in our store, join our many creative groups and input into our online ‘Greenroom’ which has its own newsfeed to keep you creative and inspired!
